56. The first Christian Fold.

While the disciples were together in Jerusalem waiting for the promise, in the meantime they appointed one of the other followers of Jesus, named Matthias, to be the twelfth among them instead of Judas Iscariot. It would not have been necessary. God himself will choose another one to be the twelfth, whom no one recognised as such in those days. One hundred and twenty souls were gathered together. This was the beginning and first seed of the Christian church on earth. The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed or another small seed that a man takes and places in his garden. It grows and becomes a large tree. Through God's blessing, the small becomes great.
